Former President's Cup player Bradley Hughes has committed to play in the inaugural 2010 United States Match Play Championship, to be held June 29-July 3 at Pebble Creek Country Club in Taylors, South Carolina, just outside Greenville.  To date, Hughes is the highest-profile player to commit to the event.

In 1994, Hughes, originally from Australia, was named to the President's Cup team in 1994, representing the International team.  A former PGA Tour Player, Hughes also played on the Nationwide Tour, winning the 2004 Wichita Open.  He also is a two-time champion of the prestigious Australian Masters, winning in 1993 and 1998.

About The Linkside Course at Pebble Creek Country Club


The Linkside Course at Pebble Creek Country Club in Taylors, South Carolina (just outside Greenville) is the private course at this 36-hole facility. The greens are Champion Bermuda grass, rebuilt in 2008 and are always in excellent condition, as is the rest of the course. The course, normally a par-72, will be converted to a par-71 (2nd hole changed to a par-4), and play to approximately 7,042 yards. The Linkside Course at Pebble Creek is one of Upstate South Carolina’s premier designs.

Former PGA Tour professional and President’s Cup player Bradley Hughes is the head professional.
