Hard, by Julius Boros, when he was ten years old. Since
then, Fred has built an extensive library of more than 250 golf
instruction books and videos. Fred is a self-described
“compulsive student of the same of golf.”
He says, “The more I learn about the golf swing and golf
equipment, the more intrigued I become about this endless
learning experience.”
After running his own telecommunications company for 25 years,
Fred became a USGTF Level III golf teaching professional in
2005. He operates the Brandywine Valley Golf Improvement Center
at the Tee Time at Ten driving range in Oxford, Pennsylvania. He

gives me more pleasure than seeing my students improve and
sharing the enjoyment they get when they make good contact with
the ball.”
As a master clubfitter, Fred also uses technology which includes
a Zelocity ball launch monitor, GolfTek Pro III swing analyzer
with GolfTek ProGraphics 3 software, and Wishon Golf Technology
trajectory and ball flight software to perform his fittings.
Fred’s facility is a “Recognized Mitchell Club Repair Shop,”
which provides professional club building, measurement,
adjustments and repairs using the industry’s finest equipment,
including the Mitchell Steel Club Plus loft and lie machine,
Mitchell Tour Gage putter machine, Mitchell digital shaft
